Day 64 (S45)
By the 6th day of their confinement, they were begging The Queen's soldiers guarding their door to let them out.
"Come on... Tomorrow's the final day. We just want to go shopping," Alice wined.
"We've been good," added Rina, "if we were going to try to escape we would have already."
After a little convincing, they were released for 2 hours for shopping at The web.
Rina got a Revivify scroll and Alice got another pet bat.
"I want to talk to Mother Epoigra while we're here," said Rina, "Just... mom to mom."
She said the password and was let in.
"What can I do for you today?" the monotone voice asked her.
"I have about 2 hours I can spare," said Rina, "I thought I would just come in and keep you company for a while. My son just left the city... I had not seen him for a long time. I thought I would just ask you if you wanted to talk about your kids. Or anything, really. I imagine you get lonely."
"Ahh, yes. I can remember every one of my 43,560 children."
"Wow, that many, huh?"
Then, Epoigra spent the remainder of the two hours speaking of her children, "Yes, and I remember their names... the first born: SHHeRAAnda... her brother RaaSHnaaG.... Then there was RHaaaMaaa, and his twin brother, RHaaMaaa..."
"Wait... aren't those the same? Or am I missing an inflection?"
"You're missing the 'aaa' versus the 'aa'," Epoigra answered.
"Oh... is that all..." Rina said, beginning to get bored after being there for hours.
"Well, it's been great, but unfortunately I'm still under house arrest so... I gotta go!" Rina left far before Mother Epoigra was finished listing her children.
Alice had commissioned that the cloaked masks make her some googly eyes. She came up with a design and they were able to make 10 of them.
Alice then grabbed a small stone from the street on the way back to Tower 5, with an evil smile on her face.
"What are you up to?" Rina asked.
"I'm going to put googly eyes on the rock and put it next to Blanke while he sleeps... Give him real nightmares!"
"That's so mean... and I love it," responded Rina.
That night, Alice sneaked into Blanke's room and put the rock on his bedside table. Blanke awoke in the night for a bathroom break, and saw the stone with the eyes looking back at him. Flashbacks of his rock-winning nightmare appeared in his head, and he ran out of the suite in only his black booty shorts. He ran past the guards - who were sleeping, themselves - and down to the lobby. After a few moments, the staff of the hotel was able to calm him down and get him back to his room.
He hesitantly tiptoed to his room, peeking around the corner to see the rock before it saw him... nothing was on his bedside table.
Rina, who was still awake at this time of night, walked out to "console" Blanke.
"You must have had another nightmare," she said.
Alice walked up to him, too, "I didn't see anything, you must be imagining it," she said.
Confused, Blanke went back to bed, but slept with one eye open... or, tried to, anyway.
The girls cackled with laughter, happy to find something they apparently had in common: amusement in teasing Blanke.
