Day 63 (S45)

When they all awoke the next day, Blanke decided to call Mari in.
“Blanke… what can I do fer ye?”
“I don’t like that you are a slave,” he said to her.
“Well, I don’t like it either. But what are ye to do?”
“I don’t have enough money to buy your freedom,” he started “but I do have enough to help you.” He then handed her 3,000 gold pieces.
“Wow… Thank ye. I truly appreciate it. This will change my life,” Mari said as she grinned from ear to ear.
“Now, where’s my morning cheesecake?”
Mari looked back at the cheesecake she’d brought in, “Uhh… I’ll get ye another! This one is ehh… not suitable!” 
“It’s cake, I will eat it.”
“No!” Mari yelled as Blanke went to grab a piece, “There’s uhh… somethin wrong with this one. I’ll get ye another!”
Neely could smell that the cake was poisoned, “Blanke, you really don’t want that one. We should definitely throw this one out.”
Blanke protested, but between Neely and Mari’s efforts, they were able to keep Blanke from the poisoned cheesecake and get him a good one.
