Day 58 (S41-42)

Early in the morning, shortly after Rina finished her 4 hour trance, the Alarm at the door went off. Rina looked up to see two hooded figures in all black enter the foyer of the hotel room. Before she could wake the others, the two men each dropped a bag of coins onto the floor, and left the room.
"Alice..." Rina whispered as she gently shook Alice awake, "Alice, I think at least one of those is for you."
"Huh?" Alice said groggily, "Oh, yeah! I'm... not gonna leave the Tiny Hut yet, though. More sleep."
Rina smiled, then got out her journal to write everything that had happened the day before.
Once the sun came up and the Tiny hut began to melt away, the group made decisions on what do to next. Alice collected her 6,000 gold for taking down Alejandro's pants during battle, and Blanke got his 30 gold for his bet on The Bound over the Salt Slayers in the previous fight.
"There are four main things we need to do today," Neely started, "we should go to the web since The Queen gave us the password. We have to meet the Eyeless Kindness at noon, then we have to meet the WhatTheHecks at dusk. Also, we should get our response to the Queen today."
"Should we just send that with Mari?" Blanke mentioned.

"Rina, you should write it," said Alice.
Rina rolled her eyes and pulled out a piece of paper and her scribe's pen:
"To the Great Queen Loanna Staffon, We accept your proposal, and have decided our wish with you in mind. We only ask that the non-citizens who are giving their wish for the good of Asmery be financially compensated, as they will not otherwise benefit from their work toward the wish that we are using for the good of your country. We ask 50,000 gold for each non-citizen: 100,000 gold total. Thank you for your consideration, and your desire to work with us.
-The Bound"
"I will also use Illusory script to make sure only the queen, Edmond Staffon, and her close attendants can read it. If anyone else tries, it will look blank. Even the Pontifex and the Mother Witch, Belladonna."

"I think we should head to The Web first," said Alice, "If we can find anything that ties the Knights of Light to the disintegration spell we can tell the Eyeless Kindness about it at the meeting."
"And I need more mesh shirts," said Blanke.
"Ok, it's settled," said Rina, "First we go to the Web, then to the meeting at noon. Then we would have a few hours before we meet Mayoay."
As they were leaving Tower 4, they saw lines in front of the arena. Hundreds of people from all over Kay'Lend were lined up to see the final fight and get their tickets.
A paper boy yelled from a corner, "The Everbleed Bowl's final fight! The Bound, the WhatTheHecks, and the reigning champs - the Knights of Light, all battle it out in the finals!"
Rina purchased a newspaper, and Blanke went up to the lines and began shaking every person's hand.
"Blanke!" Alice yelled, "We NEED to go! We are on a time limit!"
The girls all dragged him away from the crowd, and they approached The Web, which was noticeably empty.
Upon arrival to the Web, Blank and Alice did some shopping, but many of the shelves were empty.
"Seems sparce," said Alice.
One of the cloaked masks floated over to them, "We are sorry for any inconvenience, we are currently restocking many items."
"So, that means you have a restock room?" Rina asked.
It turned to look at her, "Yes. Now, how may i help you."
"I need some more mesh shirts... I want five," said Blanke
"We have these in stock," said one of the cloaked masks working there, it left to another area and brought back a handful of mesh tops in Blanke's size.
"I think these should be even smaller," said Blank to the cloaked mask figure.
"We have made these to your exact specifications," it responded. Blanke bought them.
"I also need something to sign my name," said Blanke, "Something that is easier than a pen."
"We can make a custom stamp for you," said the mask, "This will take 20 minutes, would you like us to continue?"
"Yes!" Blanke answered. The masked cloak then moved toward another room to make it.
"I also want to know if you have any potions or anything," said Alice, "something for healing."
"We have 2 superior potions and 2 supreme potions - would you like to purchase them?"
"I'll take the superior potions," she answered.
The Masked cloak then moved to another room, and came back with the potions.

People then began to filter into the Web, each asking for something they needed or ordered.
"We should get into the middle room before too many people get here," Rina said to Alice, "What do you want to do?"
"I think you should use disguise self to look like one of those masked cloak things," said Alice, "I'll stay out here, if you need me to follow you then just tell me to go Forward with our blending connection, or Danger if something is dangerous in there."
As Blanke and Lloyd were shopping, Alice stood as a lookout as Rina disguised herself and approached the door of the center room. Rina was not as subtle as planned, but she said the password quietly so that no one could hear, and the door opened. Her illusion dropped as she closed the door behind her.

Just inside the door everything was black - a thick fog she could not see through. She kept walking, then entered a dark room with no lights. In the center of the room stood a pale figure with long, silver hair.
The figure began to slowly move toward Rina, looking up at her with empty, unblinking eyes.
Rina stood completely still, barely able to see anything despite her dark vision. She watched the humanoid-looking figure stare at her, like staring into her soul.
Rina could feel a crawling sensation on her back, like a hand moving up toward her head. She felt it was wisest to not move, despite the feeling of 8 little legs crawling into her hair. For a moment, this crawling felt as if it entered her head before disappearing entirely.
The figure began to contort its face and body, slowly reshaping itself as she looked intently at Rina. Its humanoid-looking shape began to look more... Elven. The ears pointed, the face changed shape to be more feminine. The eyes changed color and narrowed, the height lowered to be just shorter than Rina's.
The face began to become something familiar, like someone he hadn't seen in nearly exactly 200 years.
"...Mom?"
The figure responded to Rina's voice by contorting in unnatural ways. The Head turned around 180 degrees, the arms and legs extended to the edges of the room and each split in two.
Rina now saw her mother with legs and arms split down the front, and her mother's head now splitting in two.

The creature, now perched higher in the room, seemingly hanging from the ceiling, finally spoke.
"How can I help you today, customer?"
Rina stood in silence, staring at the creature a moment. She could now see many sets of eyes in the middle of the creature's head, and the arms and legs were all white and fleshy. The head and torso faded into brown.
Rina finally composed herself and asked, "Are you... the Madam?"
The creature tilted its head to the side a moment, then answered, "Yes."
Rina could no longer bring herself to make eye contact with it, and she looked away, "I was given the password from the Queen. I assume you may know more about why I'm here than I do. But we were looking for information on who recently bought the disintegration spell that killed someone in the Everbleed Bowl the other day."
"I do not reveal information about my customers," it responded.
"Then do you know why I'm here? And how you can help me?" Rina asked as she looked around the room. She could now see dozens of spider webs coming out of holes in the walls, which looked like Swiss cheese. The room extended upward farther than expected. Every wall had webs into threaded into the adjacent rooms of the shop.
The creature cocked its head once again, "You are someone powerful," it said, its voice seeming more feminine, "I wish to speak to your compatriots."
"So, you do know why the queen sent us here?"
"Yes."
"But...You're not going to tell me if they're not here?"
"No."

Rina then used her blending signal to Alice to say "Forward." As she does, every servant in the Web tenses up and stops moving. In unison they say, "We are sorry, we are closing early today," as they usher everyone out of the building except Alice, Neely, Blanke, and Lloyd.
Lloyd and Blanke begin to try and leave, but Alice stopped them, "Guys, I think Rina needs help. We should go into the middle room to find her."
The four of them opened the door, Alice leading, and entered the pitch black room.
"Rina?" Alice said quietly.
Rina didn't answer, so Alice lead the others into the center of the room slowly. A few steps forward, Alice bumped into Rina's leg.
"It is good the rest of you finally arrived," said the spider woman, "I hear you want information."
"Whose talking?" asked Blanke.
"Ohh... I forget, you do not all see in the dark like... we... do," she said, glancing at Rina for a moment.
She lit a small candle, just large enough to see the true face of this creature. The hundreds of eyes on the pale skin, and the long hair coming from a contorted head, destroyed the confidence in the group who just entered. All four of them were frozen in fear, Lloyd even soiled his pants.
"Oh, I forget... they do tell me that my appearance elicits such a response. My apologies."
She then raised the lights a bit more, revealing her entire body - eight long legs made of pale, fleshy legs extended to the corners of the room to hold her up. Her color and skin appeared to be that of a humanoid, but the shape of her legs and body were that of a giant spider - complete with mandibles on either side of the mouth of her elf-like face.
"I have what you want," she said to them all, "but I require a favor."
"What's the favor?" Rina asked immediately.
The spider cocked its head toward her again, "First you must agree."
"How long will we have to complete this favor?" asked Rina.
"You must complete it within your lifetime, that is all."
Everyone hesitated for a moment, then Rina spoke, "Guys... I think we sould just agree. Whatever it is, I have over 4,000 years to do it even if you can't."
"Fine, we agree," said Alice.
"Each of you must agree."
"I agree," the other three agreed.
"Fine," the spider woman said, "My name is Mother Epogra, I am the web."
Just then, the silk threaded through the walls pulled in dozens of cloaked masks and hung around them.
"These are how I communicate with my customers," she said, gesturing to the masks.
"So, we've been talking to you this whole time?" aske Blanke.
"Yes, I am the arbiter of goods - anything that you may need."
"We need information," said Alice, "can you give us that?"
"Yes. I can give you information. But first, I will tell you my favor," said Epogra, "I need you to deliver this to Ta Amor."
She held a small sack of silk in her claw, Rina held out her hands to take it.
"I also require that, with it, you deliver a message."
"You say this goes to Ta Amor, but... who exactly does it need to go to?" Alice asked.
"This gift and the message are for... my son," Epogra answered.
Rina immediately relaxed her shoulders and sighed, "Yes," she said quickly, "whatever it is, I'll do it. I'll make sure it happens."
Epogra looked at her, "The message is... 'You may spin your silk alone, but a mother never forgets her favorite hatchling.'"
Rina's eyes welled up, thinking of her son - and now remembering her own mother.
"Now," began Epogra, "for doing this favor, you now have access to goods that are not yet available to the public. Also, I will tell you about the deception spell that killed that man. I dislike the person who purchased it very much... so I will lead you to them."
"A Deception scroll? So it was a scroll that was designed to say one thing, but do another?" Blanke asked.
"Yes, there has been only one asked for recently. I cannot give you their name, but I can give you this," she handed Blanke a bag with a family crest on it with a fancy G on it, "This will lead you to the information you seek."
"I have one more question," said Blanke, "I heard you may know about The Syndicate, what can you tell me about them?"
"They are... a cheap copy of what I do. They want to be the web, but they cannot match my skills to serve customers."

"So, you said you had new goods available?" Alice asked.
Just then, some of the webs above them began to move the masks, and they brought in chests with different items in them and opened them.
From them, Alice decided to get seeds that could grow into anything made of wood.

As Alice shopped, Rina got more details from Mother Epogra, "Where is Ta Amor?, I don't see in on the map of Kay'Lend."
"You mean... you don't know? You, of all people?" Epogra then pulled out a crystal sphere from a hole in the wall. It was smooth on the outside, but shaped just like the earth on the inside. As if showing something that Kin had mentioned to them in Greenwarf when studying the source of the Spliced souls, "It reminds me of what I've been told is the underdark," Kin said, "it looks like a world that's opposite of our world. Or... an upside down version."
Mother Epogra then marked a spot within the crystal sphere and handed it to Rina.
"I'll make sure your son gets this," Rina said, "I know if it was me... I'd want to ensure it would be done, too."

Rina studied the sphere, thinking of Agronoch - somewhere on this little map was his home... and the Beast Plains.
The puzzle pieces in her mind began to click together, the information she'd been collecting and writing about all began to make sense.
The souls passing from this plane to the afterlife are getting stuck, they are unable to go where they're meant to go. Many are being held hostage - by either the Niktalia Plane, or devils who are hoarding them. There has been no sign of a heaven, only sections of the afterlife lorded over by different powerful individuals. Even Enoch was surprised when Caspian and Aurelius made it to the afterlife, so not all lords of the afterlife are being looped in on the information of how to get souls to their individual realms.
The Eyeless Cult's writing in Mt. Ivatim stated that the gods walk among them... Gods seem to exist on this side while devils inhabit the other.
"The Cycle has become a spiral" is what Alice said in the Taste Tree Forest; the cycle of life has become a spiral into one plane - with apparently no exit.
Enoch could not go into The Kingdom of Bolgroth without dying, and the Fey needed the iron removed from the ground to come from a place "Similar to the afterlife" as Valentine said it.
The End Medallion has a Beginning Medallion counterpart. The souls of those who die in the presence of the End Medallion are destroyed. Perhaps the Beginning Medallion creates souls.

Eventually the Madam began to escort them out, the cloaked masks became active again in the store.
"I am sorry, but I must send you away now," she said, "I must reopen my store."
They were forced out of the dark room and into the main main entry room.
One of the masks hovered over to them, "Is there anything else the Web can help you with?"
They all said 'no,' except Rina, who turned back and said, "Thank you, Epogra. I'd forgotten what my mother looked like."
The mask bowed to her, and watched as she left with the others.
The sun was at near high noon by the time they left The Web.
"We have to get to the Eyeless Kindness as soon as possible!" said Alice as she began to run in the direction of Tower 4.
"Um, I need to take a small break and go to our own room..." said Lloyd.
"I'll go with you, Lloyd," said Neely, "I think I need a break."
They all agreed, and headed toward the hotel.

Blanke saw Muk & the Grimers in the lobby, minus Muk, and walked up to talk to them, "Hey little guys! How are you?"
"We're doing okay," one of them said, "but the guy who lost his arm... well... not so good."
"Eh, he'll live," said Alice.
The one-armed kobold then came around the corner, "Live? You took my right arm... and I'm right handed! I used to paint! I used to make art! This has destroyed my life!"
Alice shrugged, then Muk entered the lobby - the arrow still sticking out of his body.
"I see you still have my little gift attached," Rina said with a smile.
"Always! Forever!" Muk said as Blanke shook his hand.
One of the kobolds whispered to Rina, "He really should take it out. It's getting infected! He might die from it!"
Rina continued to smile, "Hopefully it'll heal over. He's happy about it, and so am I."
"I hope you have a safe trip home," Blanke said to Muk.
"Yes," Muk responded, "the others of Desert Sandflake will be impressed with my battle scar."
"Sand...flake?" Blanke asked, "Does the sand actually flake? Like a snowflake?"
"Yes," Muk responded as he walked away without another word.
"Desert Sandflake is the Withersalt desert, I think," said Rina, "we have had withersalt before and it does kind of... flake."
Blanke shrugged, "Ok, let's go upstairs to the eyeless kindness' room."

Alice, Blanke, and Rina were greeted by an impatient member of the Eyeless Kindness standing outside of the room, "Oh, thank the gods... we weren't sure if you'd actually show."
He opened the door and let them in, a large group of Eyeless Kindness members were in there, all talking about the plan.
Conrad approached them, "Oh, good! Glad you're here. I'm assuming you've made a decision?"
"Yes," said Alice, "but we need more information from you, first."
The wizards began to cast silence on the edges of the room so that the conversation could not be heard outside.
Blanke then began playing his flute and dancing when he entered to see some guys he'd met before who danced and sang with him. Though, after getting a bit too enthusiastic, he tripped over a chair and fell.
Rina rolled her eyes, "Ugh... can someone just get me like... 4 shots of whiskey? I'm going to need that to deal with this today."
"...it's only noon," the bartender answered.
"Time means nothing to me," said Rina as she shrugged off the comment.
"Before we get started, let's wait for our informant. We have a man on the inside who has more information for you."
"The... inside?" asked Rina as the bartender handed her 4 shot glasses of whiskey.

Just then, there was another knock at the door.
"Ahh, that must be out informant," said Conrad.
The door opened, and in walked Roy Richmond, the Middle finger of Luminus.
"Him?!" Alice yelled, "You expect me to work with him?"
"Ahh! The Bound!" said Roy, "So nice to see you all again! Minus... one or two of you, apparently."
"Hi Roy," said Rina as she walked over to him with a shot of whiskey, "I got 4, take one."
"Well, well! This group's always fun," Roy said as he took the class from Rina and they both took a shot together. "I always know it's gonna be a good day when we start takin' shots at noon!"
"I... was... unaware the two of you had history," said Conrad.
"Yeah, bad history," said Alice, "He's one of hte Fingers of Luminus, why are you working with him?"
Rina shrugged as she and Roy each took a 2nd shot, "Honestly, the history's not... the worst. But, Roy, why is a Finger of Luminus working with the Eyeless Kindness?"
"Well, to tell ya the truth, I just like bein on the winnin side of things and uh... I get the feelin that the Church of Luminus is about to have quite the upset."
"So you can be bought?" Rina asked, "How do we know we can trust you then?"
Roy chuckled, "Of course, Rina, anyone can be bought! And... Well... ya don't know you can trust me. I got no reasons ya should. All I can say is... Let's betray the Church, shall we?"

"I have no reason to speak about anything while he's here," said Alice.
"Well, he is our informant," said Conrad, "without the information he's planning to give us in this meeting... everything we've worked for will be for nothing. We have to get that Cylinder of Liquid back - our religion's most important artifact. It does belong to us, after all."
"It would be locked in another plane if it wasn't for us, though," said Rina, "technically it's ours, not yours."
"But you are the one who allowed it to get stolen, are you not?" asked Conrad.
Alice looked at Rina, who shrugged in return.
"Look, I don't have much time here," said Roy, "So, either we get this meeting started - with all of you on board - or I'm headin out to do some business."
"No, please... Please..." Conrad started, "Alice, Rina... I know it's hard to trust us, and hard to trust a Finger of Luminus, but we are desperate. Please."
"You do know that one of your little finger friends tried to kill me over this artifact, right?" Rina asked Roy.
"Anna Talley? Well, I can't speak for her - she's just doin her job, ya know? And I still gotta do mine, so are we gettin this meetin started, or what?"

"First I want to understand exactly what this Cylinder of Liquid actually means to you," said Alice, "You say it's really important, but we don't know why."
Conrad sighed, "It's... it's the memories of someone on the other side. The memories of this person are everything that someone needs to know to dissolve the barrier between this life and the afterlife."
"I've got a devil patron for that..." said Rina.
"Oh, and is he actually telling you anything?" Conrad asked sarcastically.
Rina sighed "... not exactly. Especially not recently."
"Exactly. Even if someone over there wants to communicate, there's a barrier that's making it impossible. Whoever opens that Cylinder of Liquid gets all that knowledge."
"Sounds like something that could destroy us all," said Blanke.
"Well, it could in the wrongs hands," said Conrad, "Which is why we want to open it ourselves."
"Who exactly will open it?" asked Alice.
"We will have our champion do it," replied Conrad.
Alice grimaced, "So if the Pradhana decided to use it..."
"The 'world ender'?" Rina asked, "You think it would be a good idea if someone called the World Ender used an artifact that could end the world? I think we should have your other half before something crazy like that happens."
Alice looked at Conrad with suspicion, "So you think you will use it better than anyone else?"
"We believe our champion would use this for the best good," Conrad answered, "Please, Alice... Rina? Blanke?"

"Roy," started Rina, "you know you're my favorite of the Fingers of Luminus..."
"Well, thanks Rina, means a lot."
"But," she continued, "I struggle to trust you."
"I don't blame ya," he answered, "but sometimes... ya gotta take a chance. Ya know?"
"Well... I guess I'm in," said Rina after a pause, "I don't know why you're doing this, Roy, but I want to hear what you have to say."
"I'm in, too," said Blanke, "I don't want... certain people to use it. I'd rather you all have it."
"And you, Alice?" Roy asked, "I'm gonna need to hear a 'yes' from you before we get started on this."
Roy then poured whiskey into two of the glasses, and handed one to Alice. "What do ya say, Alice?"
Alice hesitated, Rina grabbed a 3rd shot for herself and also waited on Alice in anticipation. Alice rolled her eyes, "... fine..." she said as she took her shot.
"Well, good. Then let's get started," Roy and Rina took their shots, and Roy walked up to a blackboard on the wall with some chalk.

"Now, the Church of Luminus will be transporting the Cylinder of Liquid toward Mt. Luminus to hide it in a cavern deep underneath it. They will be moving it during the fight. They will be in a caravan of three carriages. The one in the front will be the leader, it will be full of Paladins. The one in the middle is the one you want to target - it will be a covered carriage full of other items that look very similar to the Cylinder you're looking for. Luckily for you all, I happened to get a few little shavings of the metal from it," Roy then put a small jar on the table with some silver-colored shavings in it. "Then, in the back, there will be a carriage with Alric Ravenwood inside, watching the center carriage like a hawk. Anna Talley will also be watching from a nearby roof. You will be hard-pressed to get by her, she's a bloodhound for these things. By the way, each of these carriages will have a Paladin walking by it, also. There will be 6 of them total."
"How would we get in there?" asked Alice.
"Well, darlin', it'll have to be you," said Roy, "you're the one who can change into birds and things, right? There are panels on the top of each carriage that can be pretty easily moved. If a small enough, and smart enough, animal got on there - those could be opened pretty easily to get inside. The good news to all of this is, if you cause a scene then they will more than likely not fight you... much. They don't want Queen Loanna Staffon to see what they're doin', and they don't want to look even worse in her eyes than they already do."

Roy paused, then looked at everyone in the room.
"Thank you, Roy," Conrad said, "if you've given us everything you can, you can go."
"Okay then!" said Roy, "I do have stuff to do, people to meet, places to be, someone to kill. See you soon, The Bound - I'll be watching the fight!" Roy left, the silence spell ended, and everyone sighed in relief he was gone.

S42

"Our meeting time is over," said Conrad, "We will see you tomorrow for the fight... good luck."
And with that, The Bound left the room of the Eyeless Kindness.
"You guys want to eat before we have to see Mayoay?" Alice asked.
"Yes, and I want to see my son," Rina responded.
"And I still need my daily cheesecake," said Blanke, "Where's Mari?"
"Blanke, stop badgering poor Mari - she hates you enough."
"What do you mean? Mari loves me!" Blanke said confidently as he headed toward the lobby.
"Let's peek in on Lloyd and Neely to see if they want to go," Rina suggested.
"And we need to let Neely in on the plan," said Alice.
They popped into their own room to find Lloyd in a clean pair of pants and Neely practicing her harp.
"You two want food?" Alice asked.
"Of course! Let us to acquire sustenance!" Lloyd yelled excitedly.
"No one is to be alone," Rina said, "Neely, you want to come?"
Neely sighed, "No... but I will..." She got up and packed up her harp so she could carry it with her.
The five of them went to the hotel restaurant to find Darrian there with Gunther and Marie.
"Hey, kid!" Rina greeted him, "Mind if I join you?"
"Of course, mom," Darrian responded, "Gunther and Marie were just telling me about their wedding planning!"
Rina sat next to Darrian, and the other party members sat at a different booth across the way.

Everyone ate together, and then it was time to meet with Mayoay.
Just before dusk, the party went back to their room and Mayoay was waiting outside their door, "Good to see you, where may we speak?"
"Let's go in and get under a Tiny Hut," said Rina.
They went in and Rina made the igloo hut for them all to sit in.
"Lloyd," Blanke started, "You should go do more sword proactice."
"You are right, Blanke, my dear friend!" Lloyd then began chopping at the bedposts again.
"That's... what you meant?" Mayoay asked.
"Of course!" said Blanke while the girls just rolled their eyes.
"Ok, Mayoay," Rina started, "We want to go over what's going on. The Queen asked us to settle some things between the Church of Luminus and the Great Pyre. She has said that if the Knights of Light win again, she's going to burn down the pyre. If the WhatTheHecks win, she's going to disassemble the church."
Mayoay looked shocked, "Queen Loanna Staffon said this to you directly? When? Why?"
"Right after the last fight," said Rina, "She thinks we have a chance to win, and we aren't representing either the Church or the Pyre... so she thinks we are relatively neutral."
"And we want the win to go to one of us," said Blanke, "We want to team up against the Knights of Light to down them first. Then it's fair game. No fighting each other until they're down. They've won every year, apparently... someone needs to beat them. It should be one of us."
"Well, yes... Yes I suppose that would be best," said Mayoay, "but... I don't think I can guarantee we will not attack you in any way before they're all down. We will do our best, but many spells may hurt more people than just the ones we're aiming at."
"We also have things like that," said Rina, "beware of Fireballs - I will be throwing them at the knights of light whenever I get the chance."
"Sounds like we're on the same page, then," said Mayoay, "Is there anything else you want to add before I go? I do have some things to do before tomorrow's fight."
"We just ask that - if you can - put some kind of coverage over part of the field for us to hide in," Rina suggested, "We have plans that may prevent Alice from using her Fog Cloud. You can end the spell whenever you like, or take advantage of it, too."
"I will do my best," Mayoay said, "I must leave now, but good luck - I will see you tomorrow for the fight."
She then left the Tiny Hut, and the hotel room with a smile and a wave.

"Since we have the Tiny Hut up and Lloyd is still busy," Alice started, "let's fill Neely in on the plan."
"Oh, you... made a fight plan without me?"
"Things got complicated," said Blanke.
"The champion of the Eyeless Kindness is going to take your place in the fight tomorrow," Alice said, "And I have a special job for you."
"Did I... do something to make you want to replace me?"
"No, of course not, Neely," said Rina, "we need your skills elsewhere."
"There is something I need to get back since Rina let someone steal it..." Alice said, glaring at Rina.
Rina rolled her eyes, "Neely, we need you to get Alice out of the building, then make a distraction while Alice gets it back."
"Okay! I can do that!" Neely responded, "You can count on me!"

"We have some time before bed," said Rina, "I'm going to take down this Tiny Hut and make another when we go to sleep."
They all went over battle plans until it was time to sleep. The sleep was sound, and nothing affected them in the night.

Next: Day 59 (S42-45)
