Day 8 of 2 weeks of diplomatic immunity

Started in new home, Ended with a Golem outside Greenwarf.
The next day Alice and Neely go to the Culinary School and look for chefs. They also try a bunch of restaurants in town.

Kin, Rina, and Aurelius go to the ShapeSmithing shop and talk to Drake. Rina trades the Jarl mask + the Clown ring for the Warlock Death Ring. Drake finds the clown ring to be really funny, so he keeps it. We get the keys going, and we talk about getting a new shield and enchanting another for the guys.
Drake mentions that he's never met an Elf who wasn't an asshole, but doesnt think Rina is too bad.

Started in Castle Frey. Alice and Neely go to find a cook. They find an orc lady and her adopted son - Thomas. We pay the Daria 60g a month.
Rina, Kin, and Aurelius leave the smith shop - Bloodletter contest tomorrow.

Everyone but Rina all decide to teleport via scry & treestride to Greenwarf… Rina is guilted into it despite very clearly not wanting to leave til after the Bloodletter.

After trekking through some rocky areas and meadows, we run into a bunch of bandits. Kin hears them ahead of time and uses some intimidation to scare most of them off. The only one left was a guy with a huge Golem / elemental creature on the end of a chain. We fight it and the guy controlling it. We kill the guy - Neely gets a last blow. The golem has a Gold circlet like the one Alric Ravenwood and the Fingers of Luminus used to control Marie. Kin used a spell to send the elemental’s soul within the golem back to its own plane. It is now basically a mindless robot golem.

The golem has an old chain on it controlling it. Rina tried to remove the circlet but cant easily. We sleep in a tiny hut and alice attuned to the circlet. She now controls the golem.
