Day 29 (S17)

All day in Vorovni.
Rina 24, 5

Neely, Rina, Aurelius, and Alice all met up in the restaurant area of the inn in the morning.
"Here, Neely," Rina said, "Here's your first week's pay." Rina handed her 3 gold, "Plus a little extra for food," then she handed her 5 silver.
"Really?!" Neely asked excitedly, "But I haven't actually done anything yet."
"I don't care," Rina answered, "I know you will work hard. Once Kin rejoins us, he can give you a better idea of our finances and we can go from there."
"That Hallow should be done some time this morning," said Alice, "but I haven't heard from Kin at all yet. I expect he will use a sending to figure out where we are and what we're doing."
"In the meantime, I want to get my shield shined and my sword sharpened!" Aurelius said.
"I could use some spell components," said Alice.
"Why don't we all stock up on stuff we need until we hear from Kin?" Rina said, "I also want to get Neely some better adventuring clothes."
So the four of them got some other small things done around the town, and all ate dinner at the inn, once again.

Back at the Sprite Light Coven, Kin had finished hallowing and decided to spend some time praying to, Oara about what he should do, and if we was on the right path.
With commune with nature, Oara showed him a small vision of the party, and of Castle Frey, and gave him an overwhelming feeling of safety and belonging. She did not use words, but his feelings to communicate he was on the right path.

It was mid-afternoon when he was finished with his commune with nature, just enough time to get to Vorovni by nightfall. He used a sending to contact Alice and she let him know where they were staying so he could meet them at the inn.
"Thank you, Valentine," said as he got onto Stormbreaker, "I feel much better about things now. We will see you in 2 weeks or less."
"You're very welcome, Kin, see you soon" she answered, "Oh, and Kin?" she began again, "There was a blindfolded woman traveling through here a couple of days ago from the direction of Falsewater. You may want to try and find her in Vorovni."
Kin nodded as he rode away.

Neely and Rina had retired to their room for the night by the time Kin arrived at the Inn, and Alice and Aurelius were in the restaurant area to greet him.
"Kin!" Alice greeted him happily, "So much has happened since we got here, you wouldn't believe."
"I'd rather not talk about that right now," Kin said, "I've had a long ride and just need some sleep - I was awake for over a day Hallowing. Whatever it is, it can wait."
Aurelius gave Kin the 2nd key to his room, and ordered a cot to sleep on.
"I'll take the cot," Kin said, "It's better for my back anyway."
The two guys, and Alice, then went to their respective rooms and went to sleep for the evening.
