Day 18 (S10)

This day the party continued acting as they had over the last several days. Kin, Aurelius, and Alice all carrying boxes and barrels from the penthouse suite of the Floppy Hat Inn; Rina bringing them coffees in the morning, sandwiches for lunch, then candied mushrooms as a snack after they all ate dinner together.
"You think that body will start to smell?" asked Aurelius.
"It's already like a week old" said Alice, "I'm surprised it's not smelling already."
"I wonder if it has something to do with the blackened skin" Kin said, "it seems unnatural to me."

Rina spent her evening at the Tunnel inn, as usual, and this time decided to read the folklore book she purchased at the bookstore. It did not seem to have any information on anything real within the world - just a series of stories told to children.
"I was really hoping for something useful out of this" she said to herself, "but it does remind me of some stories I used to read to Darien." She smiled and put the book away as she headed to bed - thinking of her son.
