Day 01 (S1)

We begin with an Elf woman and a young Human man:
Rina and Aurelius approach Vorovni from the northwest, stopping in a town called Mistbrook. They had been traveling together for about a week. They stop at a tavern for a drink and a meal. The tavern was busy, with most men within being belligerently drunk.
"It was so crazy." One man started, "All those people, just POOF, gone! Like they never existed!"
Rina listened in out of curiosity, nudging Aurelius to listen as well.
"The only man who lived, or so they say, was a blind man named Cricket. CRICKET! Who names their kid after a bug?" the man continued, "Anyways, I hear he's livin in Stoneslope now - that crazy ole coot."
Out of the corner of her eye, Rina sees behind the two men talking, another man began grabbing at a waitress, Rina was not having it. She walked up and grabbed his wrist, "You will not touch her again" she said to him.
“Humph, elf scum” he responded under his breath.
Rina let him go, then the two of them walked up to the bar to order. The man who Rina scolded then got his friends together to confront them.
"Who do you think you are?" the man said to Rina.
Aurelius stood between Rina and the man, "You don't want to mess with us, man" he said, "this is your only warning."
"Heh! What's a punk like you gonna do about it?" the man responded.
Aurelius then punched the guy in the face, knocking him out completely.
"I told you" Aurelius started, "you don't want to mess with me."
Everyone else in the tavern was appalled, the guy's 2 friends tried to fight Aurelius and Rina, followed by many others in the bar, but the two of them completely cleared the bar of any belligerently drunk individuals.

Kin and Alice then walked in together, shocked at the sight of these two strange individuals being the only conscious ones in the tavern.
"Excuse me!" Alice, the halfling, yelled in their direction - as if they couldn't hear her just because she was short.
"Yes?" Rina responded.
"We're traveling to Vorovni to enter the up-and-coming Sprite Light coven, and we could use some people like you to help us." Alice continued.
"Um... Alice..." Kin, the very plain-looking human with her whispered in her ear, "We don't even know them. Should we really trust them with this?"
"I donno" Alice said, "Can we trust you guys?"
Rina and Aurelius looked at each other and shrugged.
"Of course! We're going to Vorovni anyway, I'm happy to help!" Aurelius replied.
Rina seemed hesitant to commit to this, but she followed along anyway - ready to help them with whatever they needed for the time being.
"So," Rina started, "What's the deal with this coven?"
"The witches of Vorovni have tasked us to help Get Sprite Light legitimized" Alice responded, "The first thing we need to do is get a contract from Mayor Highwater of Vorovni for the Pixie Woods, which they want to own so they can Bring back the Fey."
Rina stopped in her tracks, "Bring them back? Where did they go?"
"They disappeared to another plane or something" Alice said, "Something about the iron in the ground preventing them from being able to live here."
"The fey have been gone from here for quite a while" Kin interjected, "Valentine, who runs the Sprite Light coven, needs to get the woods to purge the iron from the ground."
"So you said the Sprite Light coven wants to be legitimized, are there already other covens?" Rina asked.
"Yeah," Aurelius started, "There's three covens already. Sunblight, Daybreak, and Twilight."
The four of them got a room in the inn at Mistbrook and turned in for the evening. Tomorrow, they head to Vorovni.
